Our Team
Samantha Marino
Samantha Marino came to counseling in midlife. Before starting graduate school in Counseling Psychology, Samantha worked as an artist and community organizer, creating community-based art initiatives, teaching art, and supporting community development efforts that helped small businesses in the Garfield area. Her artwork had previously focused on people and relationships, and she sought ways to use her talents to support others' growth. At 34, she had an “epiphany” that she wanted to become a researcher in psychology, so she enrolled in the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Chatham University in 2015. She discovered a love for counseling and therapy, along with many opportunities to learn and grow as an academic and researcher. Samantha completed and earned her doctoral degree in August 2022 and was licensed in December 2022.
